THE FOURTH FLOOR BAR, HARVEY NICHOLS LEEDS, TAKES PART IN THE UK’S LARGEST COCKTAIL EVENT
On Thursday 30 May the Fourth Floor Bar Harvey Nichols will be taking part in the UK’s largest cocktail event, Cocktails in the City. This national event, which will be hosted for the first time in Leeds in the grandiose surroundings of Leeds Town Hall, offers an evening of cocktail making and demonstrations carried out by a selection of the city’s best bars.
Cocktails in the City is an interactive evening where visitors will be able to make and shake great drinks with the assistance of Leeds’ best bartenders. Main stage demonstrations will also give visitors the opportunity to sample some of the finest drinks brands available in the UK.
Partnering up with Chase Vodka, the Fourth Floor Bar team will be entertaining drink enthusiasts and teaching them how to make the delicious Harvey’s Marmalade Fizz, which is made from Chase Marmalade Vodka and will be the Harvey Nichols Cocktail of the Month in May.
The Harvey’s Marmalade Fizz is made with:
· 45ml Chase Marmalade
· 15ml Campari
· 10ml Lemon Juice and 10ml Lime
· 1 Egg White
· 2 Bar spoon caster sugar
· ½ Bar spoon Harvey Nichols Seville Orange Marmalade and Soda
To make:
· Add ingredients except soda to mixing glass
· Dry shake to emulsify egg white
· Shake a second time with ice
· Add the Marmalade to the bottom of the jar
· Strain into jam jar and add soda

The participation of Harvey Nichols in Cocktails in the City follows the recent refurbishment of the Fourth Floor Café and Bar. Along with receiving an accolade at the 2013 Oliver Awards, the Fourth Floor is also celebrating its 17th year as one of the city’s leading drinking and dining destinations.
